Wine & Dine Weekends – June-August
What could be better than a warm summer weekend spent in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains indulging in the most excellent wine and delicious food that the area has to offer. This weekend begins on Friday evening with dinner at a local favorite – Oddfellas Cantina in Floyd, VA. When you return, a bottle of wine and a tray of fine chocolates will be waiting for you in your room.
After dining on the Inn’s delicious four-course breakfast on Saturday, you and a guest can enjoy a day traveling the Blue Ridge Wine Trail which includes tastings and tours of Chateau Morrisette, Villa Appalachia, Blacksnake Meadery, AmRhein Wine Cellar, and Foggy Ridge Cider. Your dining experience will be complete with dinner on Saturday at the Chateau Morrisette. The cost of this package is $375 per couple and includes a two night stay at the Mountain Rose Inn in one of our queen rooms, $50 gift cards towards dinners at the Chateau Morrisette Restaurant and Oddfellas Cantina, and coupons for all of the tours and tastings. Reservations are required and are subject to availability. Upgrade to one of our king rooms for an additional $40. Taxes and gratuities are not included in the package price. (Package can be booked for Saturday & Sunday nights. Restaurant coupons would be valid for lunch only on Sunday.) Make your reservations today.

Getting to Know Your Wine – May 15-Sept15
We’ve found that you, our guests, always have a favorite wine, and we’d like to get to know yours. So bring your favorite bottle with you for your stay at the Inn and share a glass with us. We will subtract the cost of the wine – up to $50 - from the cost of your stay. It gives you an opportunity to enjoy your favorite wine in our special setting here at the Inn. It gives us an opportunity to get to know you and to find some new favorite wines for our table. Simply let us know the cost of the wine - either your good word or a recent receipt will do - and we’ll take care of the rest. Reserve your room today.

Innside the Inn's Updates

Dear Guests,

The 2007 winter months were not spent in front of a roaring fire enjoying cups of warm cocoa. Instead we took on several projects and a couple of room renovations to make the Inn even better than it was for you.

Daisy's Den underwent a complete transformation and has been renamed Daisy's Delight. This room now features a king size four poster bed, private bath, working fireplace, a flat screen TV with DVD player and plush robes. Here is a picture of our newest room completely redone. So make your reservation today for a delightful stay.

The Inn's laundry room received a complete makeover with new equipment and new built-in storage. The Inn's pool was given a new coat of paint and is open for those long cool summer swims. More flower beds have been planted in the Inn's beautiful yard and garden, and several new bird feeders have been added along with a new garden pond. The new bird feeders have brought in many species of birds that you can watch flitting about the yard, and the hummingbirds are back for their summer visit.

Come see for yourself all of the changes and enjoy a get-away at the most beautiful Inn in Southwest Virginia!

Your Innkeepers,
Mike & Dora Jane
