Every morning we serve an elegant four-course breakfast on antique china and silver by the glow of oil lamps. We don't claim to be gourmet chefs, but one of our guests wrote to us that "the gourmet breakfast was worth the price of admission".
We want to make your breakfast very special - a meal that you will remember. Your breakfast will begin with a cup of hot tea, cocoa or our famous Mountain Rose Blend coffee. Brewed from locally roasted coffee beans, we grind our beans one pot at a time ensuring fresh, tasty coffee in every cup.
Our first course is a help-yourself juice and cereal course. We feature our own personally mixed version of the granola available at our local gourmet purveyor, Harvest Moon.
Next, we serve a seasonal fruit course accompanied by homemade muffins or breads. Our "Chilled Cream of Pear Soup" is one of our signature recipes that is often requested by our guests. Our "Summer Peach Smoothie" is the perfect cool beginning for a warm day by the pool. In the fall and winter, our "Apple Pastry Rollovers in Honey" provide a delicious warm start to a chilly morning.
Breakfast entrees are the third course served to our guests. Pancakes are a specialty here, and we enjoy featuring different flavors for our guests' enjoyment. Southern Orange, Pecan Cinnamon, and Buttermilk Blueberry are a few. Our favorite pancake dish is "Hamcakes with Fresh Pineapple Maple Syrup". A smoked Georgia sausage is the perfect accompaniment. For those of you who like eggs, we offer them in many varieties. An "Italian Sausage Egg Bake in Tomato Sauce", an "Apple Cheddar Quiche" and an oven-baked "Mushroom Omelet with Mushroom Cream Sauce" are just a few of our offerings. Other fare for our main entree includes our famous "Blueberry Stuffed French Toast with Blueberry Sauce" served with country bacon and "Sausage and Gravy over Cheddar Biscuits"! |

It is our belief that no meal is truly complete unless it ends with a scrumptious dessert. Come see why guests rave over our "Lemon Cream Tartlets" and our "Dark Chocolate Chimichangas in a Raspberry Sauce".
Breakfast is served at 8:30 or 9:15 a.m. Coffee is available at any time it is requested. Many guests enjoy a cup while sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds sipping from the feeders or the occasional deer that feeds on the front lawn.
