The Inn was very well kept and
presented very nicely. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was extremely welcoming and warm. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. Brian - Banner Elk, NC posted on hotels.com

We have such sweet memories of a lovely evening, night and morning
spent in your beautiful, gracious home. Thanks so much for your warm hospitality. Janis - Merion Station, PA
The Inn and the surrounding 100 acres are owned by the Wolcott & Rhodes families. Not wanting to see their beloved childhood home fall into ruin, they devised a plan to open their home up as a retreat for travelers to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Inn is one of the oldest and most well-known B&Bs in the area.
The Mountain Rose Inn is managed by Innkeepers Valerie and Bruce Cadle. The Cadles are from Central Florida but have always loved the Blue Ridge Mountains and traveling the Parkway. They've been married 39 years and have always enjoyed hospitality and entertaining.
Bruce was a finalist in the 2010 Food Network/Youtube Next Food Network Star competition and is the author of a bestselling cookbook, Party For Two.
Valerie uses her interior decorating skills to bring warmth and charm to the Inn, and makes afternoon snacks that will satisfy your sweet tooth!
Bruce and Valerie love creating delectable dishes for the Inn's four course breakfast Monday through Saturday and our Sunday Country Buffet.
The Cadles look forward to making you feel at home so your visit will be thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
